Regenda is now recruiting a Regeneration and Skills Officer to work with our talented Regional Services team at our Oldham offices.About the roleOur ambition is to develop neighbourhoods where people truly want to live, helping to drive sustainable regeneration programmes. By connecting with community groups, other services and partners, this role will lead on developing regeneration through skills in effectively targeted local provision.You will be part of the Thriving Hollinwood programme and integrated neighbourhood housing team. Thriving Hollinwood in Oldham is an innovative, evidence-based approach aimed at building local resilience, skills, and access to opportunity for residents, led by Regenda Homes. It brings together agencies across sectors, creating a new way of working to solve challenges and provide support and opportunities for vulnerable people.You will be able to show a track record that demonstrates your ability to establish and lead a programme of activities as part of this dynamic team. You will also be able to work effectively with partner agencies to improve access to opportunities in our neighbourhoods. The successful candidate will have experience and understanding of the wider community skills agenda, including accredited learning or volunteer training.
