Job Description

We are currently looking for a placement Student to join the Servicecare team at Oldham.Servicecare Support Services Limited, a division of Clipper Logistics plc, is the UK’s leading B2B and consumer electronics repair, refurbishment and return-to-market, service company.The business is based upon supporting major manufacturers and retailers who need to maximise revenue from returned customer purchases.The good news is that our continued success and business growth has opened up an exciting opportunity for a Process Leader to join the team.Reporting to the Operations Manager, the overall purpose of the role will be to lead and manage a team of testers and engineersThe Role

  • First point of contact in order to resolve day to day issues from operatives
  • Escalate any issues which cannot be resolved to the Operations Manager
  • Ensure that daily department targets are achieved
  • Produce operational reports
  • Maintain paper and electronic records
  • Ensure compliance to health and safety
  • Ensure compliance to QA standards
  • Performance management of staff, ensuring that any issues are addressed in line with company policy and procedure
  • Attending regular departmental meetings
  • ·Ensuring effective communication to staff e.g. changes in work processes, business updates etc.
  • Ensure staff are motivated and engaged
  • Coaching, Training and development of staff
  • Ensure staff are appropriately rewarded and recognised
  • To participate in the recruitment and selection of new team members
  • To participate in the continuous improvement of departmental and site activities and projects
  • The Person
  • ·Must have first line experience of dealing with people issues
  • ·Experience of maintaining paper and electronic records is essential
  • ·Must have process management and operational reporting experience
  • ·Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills are essential as is attention to detail
  • ·Must have the ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • ·Must be able to work as a team
  • ·Ability to make decisions and use own initiative is essential
  • ·Ability to adapt to change and be flexible is also essential
  • ·Must have Computer and IT proficiency
  • ·Basic understanding of health and safety in the workplace is essential
