Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team at M&Y Maintenance and Construction as a Facilities Assistant and you might be exactly who were looking for! The roleThe main purpose of this part time role is to provide assistance to the Tenants and visitors to the centre and its environs, alongside supporting the Regenda Groups facilities management team in an effective, efficient manner to ensure the building complieswith the relevant Health and Safety guidelines and standards.The working hours for this role are 30 hours per week comprising Monday to Friday 1.00pm to 7.00pm plus 8.15am to 1pm every other Saturday (TOIL will be awarded for weeks when Saturdays are covered).Within this role, you will be responsible with dealing face to face with the public and tenants at the St Chads Centre, co-ordinating any required contractor visits, reporting all building related issues in a timely manner and assisting with the Regendaoffice in the building when required.The ideal candidate for this role would have excellent communication skills, strong customer service experience and a flexible teamwork approach, with an advantage of having a working knowledge of commercial buildings and understanding of Health & safetyat work, fire marshal and first aid experience.A good understanding of Microsoft office, eBis/Finance software would also be beneficial.M&Y Maintenance and ConstructionM&Y Maintenance and Construction provides responsive repairs, planned works, renewables, facilities management and new build services to clients across the North West.Over 40 years weve grown from a small, family-run business into a multimillion-pound company employing over 200 permanent employees.We are a dynamic, ambitious, forward-thinking maintenance and construction business.
