Job Description

Are you a qualified drama teacher looking for a new role for March 2024 in OldhamTradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a specialist drama teacher to join a secondary academy in Oldham.This a full-time long-term supply teacher role from March 2024 to July 2024 to cover a maternity leave.The RoleTeacher of Drama and Performing ArtsFive days a week.Teaching Key stage 3 Drama and BTEC Performing ArtsSpecific experience of teaching Pantomime, Slapstick comedy or The BFG would be particularly useful.The ability to teach Music to Key stage 3 or GCSE would be beneficial.The academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers, experienced QTS practitioners and further education specialists with experience of teaching drama or performing arts to students aged 11 to 16.The SchoolSuccessful 11-18 academyImproving school, working to regain its former Ofsted Outstanding status.State of the art facilities for teaching and learning."Pupils behave well. Their polite and respectful conduct creates a calm atmosphere around the school.   • Hold QTS Status or QTLS
