Job Description

Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with a SME based in Oldbury. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business as a Recruitment Consultant on a full-time permanent basis. This role offers hybrid working.SummaryYou will be acquiring both directly employed and subcontractor talent, according to needs identified by the business. This is a temporary position with 1 to 3 months work.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Processing applications for directly employed and subcontractor leads acquired through various streams of advertising
  • Maintaining job boards
  • Supporting recruits from their initial interview, through to their first weeks at the business
  • Head hunting to fill gaps in our leads
  • Implementing new ways of attracting talent
  • Screening applicants for internal roles
  • Conducting telephone interviews
  • Organising interviews, ensuring the interviewer’s availability and booking meeting rooms accordingly
  • Liaising with HR to ensure new employees onboarding is organised, consistent and welcoming
Skills and experience
  • Strong communication and engagement skills
  • Basic administration - outlook, excel and word
  • Persistent and passionate about finding the right people for our business
  • Hardworking, organised, and reliable
  • Energetic, people person with a can-do attitude
  • Experience recruiting in the trade sector
