Team Leader£28-£34k per annum (depending on experience)Permanent OpportunityMonday to Friday 37.5 hrs per weekFully office basedIf you have experience in managing a team and are from a customer service background or have dealt with vulnerable people, this role could be for you. My client is looking for somebody to manage the day to day running operations of the business. Strong customer service experience." Ability to think on your feet, supporting the team when problems arise." Previous experience managing a team and your own workload in a fast-paced environment." Effective time management and organisation skills, ability to prioritise and reprioritise workload to manage various tasks at any one time." Proficient in Microsoft packages and good IT skills." Understanding the needs of vulnerable people - a background in emergency services, care and other psychological related professions with a background in customer service preferred.Responsibilities of the Team Leader:" Manage the day-to-day activities of the department, provide guidance when needed." Regular 1-1 check ins with the operations team." Use own initiative and carry out duties without supervision." Regular formal and informal reporting with the Operations Manager." Manage own workload and prioritise time efficiently." Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders." Communicate with service users and external organisations using emails and telephone in a friendly and helpful manner." Manage complaints including the escalation process and ensuring that response and investigations are dealt with in line with company policies." Contribute to the smooth running of the office, following procedures, including health and safety and GDPR."
