Job Description

A Senior Quality Engineer position has become available within a business that supplies advanced technologies to some of the most exciting organisations within both the Automotive and Yellow Goods sectors. This is a site where everyones opinions count,and management thrive on promoting from within. This is a client far more focused on personal attitude rather than experience. On offer is a salary circa £45000, training opportunities, flexible working hours, early finish on a Friday, 33 days annual leave,and an opportunity to join a business thats heavily invested in both its staff and production facility.Senior Quality Engineer responsibilities include -

  • Provide technical direction on Quality engineering to the Production team.
  • Support NPI, PPAP, and 8D activity on site.
  • Liaise with key customers and colleagues on problem-solving activities.
  • Lead internal audits, both process and product.
  • Help to drive continuous improvement within the workplace.
  • Assist with the training of other staff and offer technical support to customers.
Senior Quality Engineer desirable skills and experience -
  • knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and techniques.
  • Knowledge of QMS such as ISO 9001, AS 9100, or IATF 16949.
  • Able to use core tools such as NPI, PPAP and 8D.
  • Mechanical engineering education (HNC/HNC), or relevant training.
