Job Description

SMART EDUCATION is a specialist consultancy focusing exclusively on the Education sector. We work extensively with Nurseries, Schools (Mainstream & SEN), Academies, FE Settings and a variety of alternative education establishments across the West Midlandsrecruiting for PERMANENT and TEMPORARY staff. We offer a bespoke service to both the clients and candidates with whom we work and are extremely proud of our honest reputation and our professional attitude towards Safeguarding & Customer Service.We are currently recruiting for a Recruitment Resourcer to join our expanding team based in our Birmingham office, to support the Managing Directors and Consultants in the office.Initially this role is fulltime Monday to Friday 7:30-4:30 (hours can be flexible)Duties include:Using job boards to source candidates to work at schools across the West Midlands in a variety of roles. Calling candidates regularly, keeping everyone up to and the database up to date. This role is ideal for organised and efficient candidates who loveto talk.To identify, attract and shortlist candidates for the recruitment process. To interview and obtain references for candidates alongside pre-employment checks. Sourcing candidates to work within the Education sector.This role would be ideal for education professionals looking to move into a sales environment related to Education.Responsibilities:

  • Identify, attract and shortlist candidates for the recruitment process to fulfil the requirements of the business brief
  • Research, identify and attract candidates using all appropriate methods to satisfy job requirements
  • Write, place and update adverts in line with company procedures
  • Monitor responses/applications received and make sure that candidates applications are processed efficiently
  • Qualify, shortlist and present suitable candidates against defined job vacancies
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection processes by effectively liaising with the candidates and internal teams
  • Initiate, manage and develop candidate relationships
  • Understand and meet agreed KPIs and targets
  • Provide general administrative support to the recruitment function
  • Understand and support the sales process
  • Provide first line support for all enquiries
  • Provide support to ensure that the candidates and clients receive a professional and comprehensive recruitment service at all times
