Job Description

Role: People and Culture Business PartnerSector: HealthcareDuration: PermanentSalary: £43472Location: Oldbury West MidlandsWorking pattern: Hybrid, 3 days on-siteHours: Flexible working hours can be arrangedSellick Partnership are currently recruiting an experienced people and culture business partner, sought for a dynamic healthcare organisation based in the West Midlands for a permanent vacancy within the newly established HR team. This role will requireyou to have an understanding of people practices and a strong emphasis on people and culture.This healthcare organisation is continuously growing with current services, in the East and West Midlands.Duties of the people and culture business partner:

  • To provide strategic people support to the divisions leaders and managers
  • Act as a trusted advisor, partnering closely with stakeholders to drive people-centric initiatives that align with business objectives
  • Have a deep understanding of People practices
  • Work towards the organizations values, practices, and principles, the position holder will take part in promoting and advancing the healthcare organisation.
  • Develop strong relationships with leaders and manages to understand their needs and provide strategic support and guidance
  • Support the implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and development plans
  • Lead and manage the divisional people function, ensure the team feel confident in giving ER support and advice that promotes employee wellbeing and is in line with the organisations values and vision
  • Support conflict resolution and promote a positive and inclusive environment that fosters employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Ensure adherence to procedures and legal requirements. Stay updated on employment laws, regulation, and best practice to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
  • Localised partnership with divisional leaders to drive colleague engagement activity to support high response rates to surveys and target improved areas of performance
  • Collect, analyse, and report People data and metrics to identify trends and insight.
  • Set targets for team members on people functions performance that are aligned with the people strategy
  • Supporting with people & culture activities when the need arises
The ideal candidate for the people and culture business partner will have:
  • A relevant professional HR qualification (CIPD level 5, or working towards level 5)
  • A Proven track record in stakeholder management
  • Excellent ability to advocate and be an ambassador for values and key business drivers
  • Experience within change management
  • A proven track record of continuous personal development
  • Public sector experience is ideal
  • NHS and Healthcare background is advantageous
  • Ability to guide and support on employee relation cases
  • Experience with TUPE transfers
