As a DHU 111 Clinician you will be guaranteed the clinical autonomy to deliver safe, effective and patient focused care. You will be making a real difference to patients by utilising your clinical knowledge supported by assessmentsoftware to carry out telephone triage; assessing patients presenting symptoms, advising them on next steps and referring them on to further care when appropriate.Working on NHS 111 is a highly skilled and exciting role that gives you the opportunity to use and develop your assessment skills for a wide variety of patients and clinical presentations. We receive excellent feedback from our patients who appreciate aservice that is always accessible to them when they are unsure of what level of care they need.We would welcome applications from capable & proactiveNurses, paramedicsor pharmacists who have excellent communication skills, are calm under pressure and enjoy working within a team environment.NHS Pathways clinicians who do not meet the Continuous Quality Improvement requirements may be required to work from site for additional hours until requirements are met.About us* FOR REMOTE WORKING, YOU MUST BE NHS 111 PATHWAYS TRAINED WITH AT LEAST 12 MONTHS CURRENT EXPERIENCE AND WORKING ON AT LEAST VERSION 29 TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE REMOTE ROLE**SITE BASED ROLES DO NOT REQUIRE YOU TO BE PATHWAYS TRAINED, THIS IS PROVIDED IN A TRAINING PROGRAMME ONSITE*If you are looking for a remote role but do not have pathways training we can provide 8 month call centerwork to then progress onto a remote role (Must live 30 miles from a DHU Site)

The computer based clinical decision systems NHS Pathways willfacilitate and support the advice given. NHS 111 Clinical Advisors will be required to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team within the service provided by DHU 111 (East Midlands) CIC providing quality, evidence based health care to meet the immediateneeds of the patient.
