Hayley Group Limited is offering an exciting position in Internal Sales with their Rail division based in Oldbury. In addition to joining an established company, they offer a competitive salary and optional membership to their healthcare scheme.Job Title: Internal SalesLocation: Hayley Rail Midlands, Direct 2 Industrial Park, Roway Lane, Oldbury, B69 3ESWorking Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays (Additional working hours may be required)The successful candidate will assist in projecting a professional company image through telephone and email interactions; by undertaking a multi-tasking role which encompasses customer communications (in-bound and out-bound); promotion and profitable saleof goods across the product range; providing supply chain solutions to customer requirements.Main duties and responsibilities for the Internal Sales role will include:- Efficient response to incoming enquiries and orders.- Achieve profitable sale of goods across the product range, up-selling as appropriate.- Prompt follow-up on customer enquiries not immediately resolved.- Prepare quotes in response to customer requirements.- Utilise Hayleys bespoke IT system to accurately identify, source and price items; to accurately record enquiries and orders, invoices and other documentation.- Undertake ad-hoc purchasing tasks, including placing orders, booking in products and raising customer invoices.The ideal candidate will have following key skills:- Desire to succeed in a sales environment.- Previous experience of achievement in a similar role would be advantageous, however not essential.- Ideal candidate will have relevant product knowledge of engineering consumables/MRO products.- Proficient in basic computer applications.- Professional level of verbal and written communication skills, as well as good numerical skills.- Customer-focused, driven to provide consistently high levels of service.The successful candidate will receive the following benefits:- From 23 days annual leave (plus public/bank holidays) increased with length of service- Company pension (if eligible)- Death in Service cover- Invitation to Paycare scheme- Wellness programmes- Cycle-to-Work scheme- Company uniform and PPE provided- Excellent opportunities availableHayley Group is the largest independent distributor of engineering products and consumables in the United Kingdom.
