CK Group are recruiting for an E&I Engineer to join a chemical manufacturing company at their site based in Oldbury on a permanent basis.The Company:Our client is a chemical manufacturer and specialises in materials, chemicals and solutions. Their site in Oldbury manufactures a variety of phosphorus based chemicals offering sustainable solutions across a broad range of applications.Location:This role will be permanently located at our clients site in Oldbury. Package:Competitive salary, Health insurance, Life insurance, 16 weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, Free language courses (24 languages available) and additional local benefits.As an E&I Engineer, you will be part of the Central Maintenance team, ensuring that COMAH plants are running efficiently and safely by providing a high-quality engineering service.Your main duties will be:- Providing day-to-day engineering support to the maintenance team.- Developing suitable site maintenance regimes, systems, and records.- Specifying and provisioning essential spares for production plant continuity.- Working with specialist contractors and internal teams to maintain site infrastructure.- Providing project engineering service (design, installation, and commissioning) for site E&I projects, including identifying and initiating plant/process improvement projects.- Planning maintenance activities for site shutdown periods.Your Background:- 3 to 5 years of experience in relevant industrial (process industries) environment, or an E&I project environment with significant on-site process industries experience.- Experience with the COMAH site or COMAH project is a plus.- Hazardous area (ATEX experience/COMPEX training).- High Voltage electrical infrastructure switching/maintenance experience.- Must have a strong technical skill set and understanding of instrumentation used in the process industries - e.g. flow, temperature, pressure and level.For more information or to apply for this E&I Engineer position, please contact Phoebe Walker on or email , quoting job ref 53492.It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
