Job Description

Working with clients nationwide on their Motor Trade and Motor Sport insurance claims, supporting and advising at all stages, and most importantly seeking the right result.Youll join a newly created central service function in Birmingham for a major broking network - this is a top 25 UK independent, and a market leader for all things petrol.As Claims Handler, you will:

  • Deal with clients from all parts of the motor trade and motor sport arena - from race tracks and circuits, teams, event organisers and competitors through to garages, dealerships and those with a focus on repair and restoration - this is a role that mightappeal to the petrol head in you!
  • Work for one of the most progressive insurance broking firms in the UK... growth has created this role, as they look to build upon a central service function responsible for delighting their clients across the country.
  • Relish a varied and fast paced role, dealing with a range of claims at all stages of the process - FNOL, liaison with clients, insurers, loss adjusters, suppliers and 3rd parties, to get the right result for your clients.
  • Receive on-going training and development, plus career advancement for those that desire, as this team expands.
  • Be rewarded with a base salary of between £28,000 - £35,000, as well as benefits package and hybrid/flexible working arrangements.

You, as Claims Handler:
  • A service driven Claims Handler who takes satisfaction from a job well done and a result achieved for your client - youll have commercial insurance experience, preferably with exposure to (or an interest in) motor sport, and/or the motor trade industry.
  • A strong communicator, empathetic where required, with good attention to detail and an ability to think for yourself, and often on your feet to help your client to navigate the claims journey.
  • An ambitious individual looking to further your claims career, with a market leading firm.
  • Commutable to the office in Birmingham - ideally based in the Black Country or South West Birmingham - perhaps, Oldbury, Kidderminster, Quinton, Dudley, Halesowen, Stourbridge, Bromsgrove, etc..
