Page Personnel Logistics has exclusively partnered with a leading Distribution firm in their search for a Logistics Coordinator based one of their largest UK Depots operating across a weekday shift pattern in Leicester.Client DetailsPage Personnel Logistics has exclusively partnered with a leading Distribution firm in their search for a Logistics Coordinator based on one of their largest UK Depots operating across a weekday shift pattern in Leicester.DescriptionOn a daily basis, the successful Logistics Coordinator will report into the General Manager working within a team of 5 coordinators/administrators. You will also have responsibility for the following areas:

  • Daily management of 10+ clients through the UK and EU.
  • Ensuring the correct documentation is supplied on all deliveries
  • Lead and engage a team to drive excellent customer service
  • Raising POs to be uploaded to the website, and checking these match final shipping documents
  • Support our clients with any queries that may arise
  • Work closely with the sales and warehousing team to ensure clients are happy
  • Work closely with the General Manager and Client to ensure the smooth running of the operation as a whole
    • Monday to Friday - 08:30 - 17:30 ProfileThe successful candidate for the Logistics Coordinator position will have the following skills and experiences:
  • 1-2 years of Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to analyse and revise operating practices to improve efficiency
  • Detail-focused and comfortable working in a team
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Superior organisation skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
  • An enthusiastic can do attitude is essential for this role
  • Be commutable to Oakham (Melton Mowbray, North Leicestershire all commutable)
    • The successful candidate may have worked within a Team Lead, Logistics Coordinator, Logistics Administrator, Operations Coordinator role previously.Job Offer
