Job Description

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.Job Title:Construction TutorLocation:Home/Field based - Must be flexible with travelSalary:up to £42,000 (Depending on experience + inclusive of car allowance)Package:Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Pension + moreType:Full Time, PermanentDuties:

  • Work in conjunction with the delivery team, to create individual support plans and oversee the Construction curriculum.
  • Provide advice and support to the onsite delivery teams.
  • Responsible for the implementation of engaging and motivational teaching,delivered 1-1 or in a small group.
  • Provide learning support for the duration of the accredited learning programmes, leading to employability outcomes.
  • Maintain learner progress records, including the monitoring and reviewing of Learning Support Plans.
Criteria:
  • Hold - or be willing to work towards - a recognised Teaching or Assessing qualification.
  • Must hold solid, occupational experience within the Construction industry.
  • Experience of providing on-the-job training within the workplace.
  • Must hold own GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents.
  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.
