International Decorative Surfaces are the UKs largest distributor of decorativesurfaces specialising in flooring, worktops, laminates, compact, panel products, solid surface and wall panelling. A great Warehouse Operative at IDS will put safety above all else, work well in a team and be enthusiastic about thework they do. As a quick learner, youll be flexible to work in different areas, take responsibility for the work you do and always show good attention to detail. Requirements As a Warehouse Operative you will deliver an excellent customer experience. In order to support our customers and deliver a great service you will; * Experience of working in a warehouse environment * Customer focused * Ensuringoptimum staff coverage within the branch at all times * Work to achieve KPI targets * Maintain stock levels in both the shop and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts * Be fully compliant with best practice Health and Safety processes and ensure allstaff comply to all H&S legislation including operating standards * Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement Hours of work: 7:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday, plus every other Saturday 8am - 12pm
