Their commitment to pushing boundaries and delivering exceptional performance has set them apart as a dynamic and progressive force in the automotive world.They are dedicated to creating cutting-edge vehicles with a strong focus on environmental responsibility, and were looking for talented individuals like you to join them on this remarkable journey.Pay & ContractBenefit from an hourly rate of £23.08 per hour to be paid via Umbrella PAYE.This position is offered on an ongoing contract basis - with large growth plans on the horizon, this is your opportunity to showcase your skills in the workshop and see what the future may bring!Vehicle Build Technician Role Overview:As a Vehicle Build Technician, you will play a crucial role in the early-stage prototype process of cutting-edge vehicles. You will take full responsibility for your bay, seeing your Vehicle Build through from chassis to completion taking the reins for wholevehicle preparation, assembly, and build.Your mechanical, electrical, and trim skills will be put to the test as you work within a state-of-the-art facility to build vehicles from the ground up. Your expertise in EVs and hybrids will be invaluable as you contribute to the development of our modelsof the future.Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Vehicle Build Technician
  • Mechanical and Electrical assembly and build tasks, including component assembly and sub-assemblies.
  • Whole vehicle preparation, assembly, and build, with a strong focus on Trim and Final Assembly.
  • Building whole vehicles from scratch within a bay-build discipline, encompassing mechanical, electrical, and trim creation and fitment.
  • Fitting part/full interior Trim packages.
  • Applying your extensive knowledge of EVs and Hybrid vehicles.
  • Utilising your understanding of whole vehicle instrumentation on test/development vehicles.
  • Diagnosing and supporting the logging of build issues and engineering improvements.
  • Reading and interpreting engineer drawings.
  • Working with a variety of handheld tools and precision components.
