Trainee Continuous Improvement Engineer / Trainee CI Engineer. Our global manufacturing client are looking for an engineer or technician who would like to move into a continuous improvement role. This fantastic business is offering a specialist trainingpackage to support the successful candidate in their development, and this will eventually become group role. What will you be doing:- Reviewing current processes to identify areas of improvement (utilising lean principles & problem-solving tools.) - Hands on data collection, analysis & problem solving within manufacturing. - Issue documentation & implement training on new procedures. - Evaluate manufacturing processes, research & develop solutions to increase efficiency, reduce time, waste & scrap. - Generate & maintain work instructions relating to plant & processes. Experience & skills we require for this role:- Previous experience in a leading or engineering position within a manufacturing or assembly environment. - Basic understanding of lean manufacturing methods. - Good IT skills. - Full right to work in the UK is essential. Hours of work:Initial hours of work will be 7am - 5pm Mon - Wed, 7-4 Thursday. Likely moving on to 8.am - 5pm Monday - Thursday and Friday 8am - 12.
