Job Description

Supply Chain AnalystNuneaton£35,000I am currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Analyst position with a leading national retailer based within their Nuneaton Head office with a mix of home / remote working. Sitting within the Supply Chain Management team, this role has a big part to playin converting data into key business intelligence and relevant commercial decisions.Typical responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Provide constant monitoring & analysis of various commercial data streams.
  • Prepare & present reports and be able to present and translate the findings to a variety of audiences.
  • Use tools and techniques to visualise data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams, charts, and graphs.
  • Identify and make recommendations based on data analysis to come to meaningful conclusions.
  • Conduct regular statistical & trend analysis to identify correlations and patterns, including forecasting models.
  • Monitor, improve and drive the importance of data quality.
  • Management and control of supply chain forecasting processes, maximising availability of product from suppliers into stores.
  • Develop Supply Chain reporting to have a suite of reports which fulfil the needs of the team and give time back for data analysis as opposed to creation.
  • Support the Supply Chain Operations Manager in areas of systems design, execution, and reporting.
  • Managing and controlling multiple supply chain projects and tasks.
  • Working cross functionally with Buying, RDCs, Stores and suppliers to share business information.
  • Working to continuously improve processes within role, simplifying and streamlining operations to maximise efficiencies.
The ideal candidate will be / have:
  • Previous Analyst experience within Retail, FMCG or Manufacturing is essential
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes & technical expertise in commercial data analysis.
  • A logical and efficient work ethic with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and be confident in liaising at various levels within the business.
  • Strong IT skills especially MS Office, Excel
  • Strong experience with different data analytics / dashboarding / visualization and reporting tools (such as Adobe Analytics, Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Detailed oriented with a quizzical brain.
  • Ability to analyse & clarify details from various sources.
  • Comfortable working in fast paced environments with a strong team focus.
