Job Description

Are you available now or in next few weeksWatsons Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity to join an established and reputable company in their industry who are looking for a Steel Worker or Steel Fitter Engineer who can work at heights to join a great team for their on-going work around England.Main Role

  • Fitting, repairing and maintaining batching plants, large steel bins, chutes, and working with mainly steel and often at heights
  • 10- hour days which includes most weekends
  • Working away from home if often required but you will be given accommodation and an allowance for meals
    • Essential Skills
  • It is essential you are self-sufficient with you own van with tools, including oxygas burning/welding set, power tools (battery or 110V) and if possible, a generator.
  • Must hold CSCS and be MEWP trained.
  • Experienced as a slinger banksman and be used to working in confined spaces
  • You must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Be capable of working independently and a team-player
