Job Description

Job Title: COT (Change of Tenancy) Sales ManagerJob type: Full time, Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00Reporting to: Head of SalesSalary: £30,000Everflow Water is a retail company forming part of the Everflow Group. Our most recent Employee Survey said that the people is what they love most about workingfor us.Our Sales team are based in Nuneaton and were looking for a COT Sales Manager to set up, manage and maintain the COT Sales team for Everflow Water. Within the role you will develop a process for COTs and Vacancies. Working closely with our Head of Salesas well as the Head of Commercial. The main purpose of the role is to reduce the money spent outsourcing for occupier details, reduce the risk of age debt for COT customers as they are our highest risk cohort within the business. Ensure COTs are actioned correctlyand the customer contracted with one point on contact until payment of first bill. Always ensuring maximum sales potential including new business opportunities.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To work with our Talent department to recruit the required staff for the team
  • To work with the Transformation team to create standard operating processes for all aspects of the COT project
  • Ensure that COTs are processed accurately and efficiently with the correct customer name and dates by the COT team
  • Work with Occutrace and other third parties to identify tenants in currently vacant sites
  • Improve the first contact with the COT customers
  • Reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Maximising Sales potential
  • Assist in creating marketing material to Landlord Supplies to ensure we have accurate data at all times
  • To manage relationship with customer until payment of first bill
  • To ensure accurate data is processed in all required systems, including salesforce, CMA/CMOS and our own internal systems
Additional duties:
  • Conducting regular 121s and quarterly assessments ensuring they are completed within the required time frames
  • Managing and authorising annual leave, sickness and time management of the team
  • Ensuring KPIs are met and where possible exceeded
Measured by:
  • Converted COT Sales
  • Increase in Revenue per SPID
  • Customers successfully passed into BAU work stream
Experience:
  • Degree level or relevant experience
  • Knowledge of utilities
  • Experience in managing vacant properties in a utilities context with a key focus on identifying new tenants/owners
  • Experience managing a team processing changes of tenancy
  • Understanding of the risk factors associated with tenancy changes and experience in mitigating against these risks
  • Relationship management skills with third party suppliers and a record of working with partners to deliver on high profile projects
  • Customer Service skills (ideally at a management level) and a passion for driving a team to deliver excellent customer service
  • Ability and experience to drive cash collection at a team level
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Previous management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
