Job Description

Job Title and Grade: Band 5 Registered Healthcare Professional - ImmunisationsLocation/Trust: George Eliot TrustWards Covered: Working in outpatients and Elective COVID PodsPay Rates: Days: £17.28, Saturdays/Nights: £22.46, Sunday/Bank Hols: £27.64The Role:George Eliot Hospital is currently expanding its Outpatient Nursing team and are looking for Registered Nurses to work as part of the Elective COVID-19 swabbing team. The role will entail:

  • Preparation of patients for treatment, investigations or procedures as directed. Patients with hygiene, elimination and nutritional needs as required.
  • Work as part of the Elective COVID-19 team to undertake antigen swabbing to meet the demands of the service.
  • Arriving and departing patients as required.
  • The post will require working long days, evenings, and weekends within agenda for change which includes enhancements for weekend working and LMC guidance. The post will require working outside; clothing and uniform will be provided.Skills/Responsibilities:In order to be considered for this post, youmusthave the following:
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role held within the last 2 years.
  • Be a Registered Health Care Professional e.g. NMC for nurses, GPhC for pharmacists.
