Your responsibilities will include component assembly, sub-assembly, and the creation of entire vehicles from the groundup within a bay-build environment. Using your Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim skills, youll contribute to the development of future automotive models.Key Responsibilities as a Prototype Vehicle Technician:

  • Whole vehicle preparation, assembly, and build, with a primary focus on Mechanical build, Trim and Final Assembly.
  • Mechanical and Electrical assembly tasks, including building components and sub-assemblies from scratch.
  • Creating and assembling entire vehicles within a bay-build discipline, covering Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim aspects.
  • Fitting part/full interior Trim packages with precision and attention to detail.
  • Utilising your extensive knowledge of EVs and Hybrid vehicles to contribute to the prototype process.
  • Reading and interpreting engineer drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Diagnosing and supporting the logging of build issues, contributing to engineering improvements.
