Porter - Nuneaton, CV10 7DJ.£9.89 per hour plus accrued holiday payCould you be a porter and bring your knowledge, personality and experience to George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust Would you like to be part of a team that works well together, always there to help each other If you answered yes, then George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust would love to hear from youThis is a full-time/part time porting role, based at the George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust, Hotel Services, College Street, Nuneaton, CV10 7DJ.This is a Band 2 position paying £9.89- £18.10 dependent on shift, holiday is accrued on top.The role will be based on a ratad system Monday - Sunday with morning, day and night shifts to be covered.Responsibilities will cover several areas such as;

  • To be responsible for the regular and sufficient removal of general, recycling and clinical waste.
  • To ensure all waste streams are segregated, handled, and disposed of in line with the site requirements.
  • To comply with the health and safety procedures when moving waste around the site.
  • Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
The skills required are
  • Happy to be in a fast-paced physical role
  • Eye for detail
  • Food hygiene knowledge
  • A good understanding of spoken and written English.
  • Trained in Manual Handling
