This vacancy is for a Personal (Care) Assistant.Home Care Direct are industry-leading specialists in personalisation. We help a wide variety of people to take control over their care at home using personal budgets, personal health budgets, direct payments or their own funding.Vacancy Summary:This is a part-time vacancy for the Nuneaton, Warwickshire area. The hours of work will be 8am to 5pm either 2 or 3 days a week, predominantly Monday to Friday.About our client:I live in my own home with my sister. I have a small dog and I enjoy taking her for walks so if you like dogs that would be great. I enjoy going to see my friends and family and attending art classes. I love to travel and experience new things and it wouldbe great to have somebody to support me to do this. What support I need:I need help with day to day things around the home and when I go out. My memory isnt great so often I need to be prompted with things like remembering and attending appointments and liaising with health professionals. I also find organising activities difficultso it is essential that you are well organised. Id like a personal assistant who can help me with my emails, letters, and other correspondence. I also need somebody who can drive, to take me to appointments and out to leisure and social activities.I need support monitoring my medication, somebody who can provide emotional support, administrative tasks, personal care and domestic tasks.About you and our requirements:Experience of working in care is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.You must be well organised.You must have a full valid driving licence and have use of your own vehicle as driving will be part of this role.
