Job Description

Maintenance Technician required in NuneatonWe have an exciting oppurtunity available for a Field Maintenance Technician primarily based in Nuneaton, this role is ideal for somebody who likes to work in a very hands on environment and has the ability to problem solve and adapt to new working conditionswith ease.Due to recent investment in our working facilities accross several different sites in the UK we require a maintenence technician willing to travel between sites to support the business with things such as new projects, installs and site support for maintenencequeries - you will be majority based Monday to friday in nuneaton but need to be able and willing to assist at other sites accross the UK.A large portion of this position will be dealing with the maintenence both reactive and preventative on the machinery based at the nuneaton site, full training will be provided as will all equiptment necessary - brilliant oppurtunity to work within an establishedand growing company who cares about their people.Responsibilities:

  • To ensure efficient running of the tray washing process and equipment, limiting unplanned downtime is the core responsibility of this role.
  • Be accountable and responsible for the condition and reliability of the production equipment, this includes the equipment performing its function in a safe manner (all guards in place etc)
  • High quality of work, testing and checking after work is completed to avoid repeated returns to the same issue.
  • Has the skills and foresight to see continuous improvement opportunities within the process
  • Record and monitor quality process parameters, required levels are clearly defined (TF024), the monitoring and reporting of these parameters and any issues are paramount to our quality commitments.
  • The ability to identify potential issues before they happen and have the skills to rectify/avoid unplanned stoppages. Making short term fixes where necessary and then planning in the long term fix.
  • Be able to work with a minimum of supervision, having the skills to rectify issues as required.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance correctly and maintain records accordingly
  • Work with all of the maintenance team, passing over all information of any issues to the other shifts
  • This role will also be supporting the major UK upgrade project. Our six UK sites have had a massive investment and are being upgraded with new equipment & automation.
  • Driving between different sites to assist on various projects.
Requirements:
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the role
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • A flexible attitude to work and hours
  • A sound understanding of English both written and spoken
  • Previous experience in similar roles would be an advantage
  • Must have a full UK driving licence and your own transport
