Job Description

Management AccountantWouldnt it be nice to line up a new role for Jan 2024...our client is looking to help you do just that.Interviews will be held before Christmas, meaning you can enjoy your Christmas break knowing you have an exciting new role to move to in JanuaryLets discuss the good stuff first:The salary on offer is £35,000 - £37,000 with an additional 10% incentive-based bonus. A Salary sacrifice pension scheme with matched contributions up to 6%, Private medical insurance for self and direct family, 28 days holiday (+ Bank holidays) and theoptions for Hybrid working up to 2 days a week (after probation)About our client:Operating in the technology sector our client has been trading in their chosen sector for over 20 years now, employing C 30 staff locally. I mention locally, as they are also part of a much larger global group employing over 15000 employees in 50+ countries.They have built a great reputation for delivering quality products and services and supply market-leading products within their niche sector.As their Management Accountant, you will:Report to the UK Finance Manager, supporting in a wide range of financial and Accounting activities such as:

  • Preparation of Management Accounts, including income statements and Balance Sheet control/reconciliation.
  • Support Group reporting into Hyperion.
  • Fixed Asset record maintenance.
  • Liaising with external auditors/tax consultants.
  • Intercompany accounts reporting and management.
  • Supporting order processing.
  • Stock overview and reconciliation.
  • Overview of accounts payable, as well as setting up bank payments for authorisation.
  • Overview of accounts receivable.
  • General ledger postings and reconciliations.
  • Ad-hoc admin duties as necessary to support the Company.
What youll need to bring to the table:To be considered for this role you will need to have a strong accounting background and a solid understanding of the fundamentals of double-entry accounting. You will ideally have a Degree in an Accounting/finance subject and/or be working towards an Accountancyqualification such as ACCA, ACA or CIMA. In addition, our client would like to see that youve gained at least a couple of years of proven work experience in similar tasks to those listed above and an understanding of how to prepare a set of accounts to TrialBalance as a minimum.Training will be offered on their financial systems but previous experience with SAP and a good understanding of Excel would be another positive attribute.Securing their next Management Accountant is at the top of the Finance Managers Christmas list, hence they have allocated time aside to commence the interviewee process before the pending Christmas breakIf this fits with your schedule and youd like to treat yourself to a new role this side of 2024, please get in touch.Bespoke Recruitment Solutions Ltd operates as an employment business and employment agency for the provision of temporary and permanent vacancies
