Job Description

CNC Machinist Adecco Leamington Spa are delighted to be working with our Nuneaton client who are looking for a CNC machinist. Our client will be looking for someone who is a fully trained and experienced engineer.Job Role and Expectation:

  • Have a good understanding on tooling technology.
  • Capable of operating both large and small 5 axis and willing to be trained on Mazak Axis CNC machines.
  • Operators must also be capable to use both Heidenhein and Mazatrol controllers.
  • Good operating practice includes running left and right-hand pairs simultaneously.
  • Have a full understanding of component set-up by the use of holding/turn-over fixtures or plates and being able to set up in a timely matter.
  • Be able to measure tooling and components accurately using micrometres, venires etc.
  • Ensure all personal safety procedures are maintained including correct clothing and safety glasses at all time.
  • Adopt correct lifting protocol i.e. cranes, fork lift or manual.
  • Keep machines are surrounding areas clean and free of obstacle, also ensuring preventative maintenance is carried out on the machines being operated.
  • Ensuring that spindle time is maximised in line with the priorities set, if operating more than one machine.
  • Liaise fully with colleagues who work on the same machine but different shits.
  • Co-ordinate with the production manager to highlight required parts or other materials and of any support required.
  • May require, on occasion, flexibility to working offsite and outside of working hours by mutual agreement.

    • Early: 06:00am - 14:30pm - Monday to Thursday06:00am - 11:00am - FridayLate: 14:15pm - 22:45pm - Monday to Thursday10:45am - 15:45pm - FridaySalary:
  • £30,000+
