Citrus Recruit are excited to be recruiting for experienced Business Development Managers/ Field Sales for an IT company based near Coventry.This is a hybrid role where you will be office based for approximately 3 days per week and then field based for the remainder of the time. You will be responsible for booking your own appointments and managing your own territory.You will be building relationships with new and existing businesses to sell IT solutions into them, specifically cloud solutions, Internet, lease lines and mobile.Our client offers a wide variety of IT and telecoms products, supported by an established training program and ongoing professional development. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong background in sales and a proven track record of outboundB2B sales and selling to customers face to face.You will be working as part of a team of 25, who all work together in Inside Sales, Field Sales and Customer Service.Responsibilities & day to day duties As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:* Making outbound Calls to B2B customers to achieve your sales targets* Spend approximately 2 days on the road visiting customers* To Complete all Sales Order paperwork within 24 hours with a high level of accuracy* To keep up to date a full and complete sales ledger tracking your sales* To Learn and develop your own effective solution selling sales technique to ensure you are selling multi-product solutions.* To deal with any inbound queries and pass to the relevant team* To Take ownership of all of your targets and deliver on a consistent basis - reviewed monthly and then quarterlySkills & experience required.* A proven track record in an outbound B2B sales role, with experience visiting and selling to customers face to face.* Must be able to identify, generate and close new business.* Highly pro-active - comfortable with outreach* Be driven, determined & self-motivated* Strong relationship building skills* Be able to work as part of a team* Excellent communication skills and telephone manner* Excellent listening skillsBenefits package* Salary of up to £35,000* Car allowance of circa £3000+* Commission and ad hoc incentives.
