Job Description

BI DeveloperNuneaton / Home working3-6-month FTC£65,000I am currently recruiting for an experienced BI Developer to join a leading national retailer based within their Nuneaton Head office with a mix of home / remote working for a 3-6 month foxed term contract. This role will play a vital part in providing frontline data and intelligence to support the business, internal data systems and bespoke reports.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Re-write the forecasting and production tools to standardise one way of working.
  • Streamline processes and drive the capability of controlling availability of product across the business.
  • Enhance the dynamic ways of using Excel to control the overfill/underfill of product pipelines
  • Implement ways to drive continuous improvement with the effective use of tools and analysis of business processes
  • Develop data gathering, analytical and reporting capabilities across operations and supply chain.
  • Sharing best practice, consistency of reporting across sites and functions, simplifying and where possible automating data collection and putting forward improvement ideas
  • Deliver routine reports for the management team on the
  • Monitoring and reviewing of company performance against KPIs as well as reviewing continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Continuously looking to streamline working practices to improve processes & functions within the department
Key requirements for the role
  • Experience within a similar level as BI Developer is essential
  • Ideally FMCG or National retailer experience would be desirable
  • Expert Level with MS Excel
  • Advanced IT Skills and be able to adapt to new systems quickly
  • Understanding of the supply chain processes is ideal
  • A passion for Business Intelligence and the impact this can have on Commercial success
  • Good time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
