Job Description

Were looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to become a part of our team in Nuneaton.   • Producing accurate and timely weekly reconciliations for production through Prepack factory, ensuring the site operates within its budgetary constraints.
  • Managing the integrity of stocks for the Prepack factory, including Cheese WIP, Finished Goods produced and packaging, and being responsible to ensure all stock is transacted correctly through the system.
  • Producing accurate and timely weekly factory wastage reports for operational analysis and to drive performance improvements.
  • Assisting with factory capacity analysis and volume planning as required.
  • Managing the PO process for Prepack factory, ensuring that all orders are raised and receipted on a timely basis to ensure that purchase invoices are processed correctly first time (Overheads / Engineering Spares Orders / Agency labour).
  • Assisting the Factory Accountant in preparing the Prepack budget and monthly forecasts.
You are best suited for the role if you
  • Studying or starting to study towards a financial professional qualification AAT/CIMA/ACCA.
  • Experienced in working in a Finance Team.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel to advanced level (plus experience of AX Dynamics will be an advantage)
  • Able to to liaise with all levels of staff and management.
  • Good with time management skills and a team player.
  • Able to work within tight deadlines in a financial environment.
  • Willing to challenge and develop factory process improvements where necessary.
