SST | Decontamination Technician | Band 3-4 DOE plus excellent benefits and enhancements | Nottingham | Full Time, Permanent. Due to a period of Growth, Spire Nottingham Hospital, located in Tollerton have an exciting opportunity available for a SterileServices Technician/Assistant to join our Theatre team on a Full-Time and permanent basis. This is a rare opportunity to develop your Healthcare career in a wonderful setting with scenic views whilst you perform your pivotal role. Shift patterns will be ona fair rota basis between the hours of 7.30am and 9pm Monday to Saturday (with enhancements for weekends), please only apply if you are able to commit to these shifts. The Sterile Services Department is aligned with our Theatre team, due to this you will becomea valued part of the Patients journey whilst they are within our care. Our Theatre Teams are the focal point for patients coming into the Hospital to utilise our wide range of treatments and surgical procedures we offer and we are looking for someone whois looking to thrive in a role that requires genuine autonomy and the chance to work as part of a continually changing environment. Duties and responsibilities: There is an element of Manual Handling required within the role, with full training provided. Asan SST, duties will include routine tasks related to the delivery of care to ensure our patients health and well-being. You will be responsible for Reprocessing, Sterilising and repackaging instruments The successful candidate will also be responsible forthe daily testing and logging of equipment Who were looking for: Experience of working within a similar role would be advantageous with proven decontamination experience Understanding of ISO13485 or a willingness to learn this Must be accurate and have astrong desire for attention to detail.
