Job Description

Are you seeking a new and rewarding role supporting students with their studiesTeaching Personnel are currently working alongside a range of secondary schools in the Nottinghamshire area. We are looking to recruit passionate Learning Support Assistants and Specialist Teaching Assistants, to work alongside KS3 and KS4 students with a variety of Special Educational Needs. This role is to work on a full time basis, to begin in September 2020.Working as a Learning Support Assistant, you will be supporting children across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, accompanied by a Teacher and/or other Support Assistants. You may be working with children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs such as;MLD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, SLD, Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome and Physical Disabilities.The successful candidate must have experience with some of the following:

  • Experience working with people with SEN / Disabilities / Challenging Behaviour
  • Confidence supporting children and young people with different types of SEN
  • Work within a Specialist Provision or SEN school
  • Teaching Personnel can offer SEN Teaching Assistants:
  • Weekly pay of GBP350-GBP400 per week, however long term rates can be negotiated on your behalf
  • Access to unique CPD opportunities to increase your qualifications and knowledge of the field such as: Autism Awareness, Safeguarding, Team Teach and more
  • An experienced consultant along with our dedicated on call service
