Based comfortable within a commute of Nottingham city centre, the client has a wide catchment area, and offers exceptional opportunity from both an employment but also development perspective.DescriptionLead the whole Sales and Operations Planning process, from demand planning through to Supply and Operations.Lead the design, development, implementation and maintenance of communication structures and processes to ensure clears rules of engagement between all stake-holders.Lead the design, development, implementation and maintenance of Planning documentation and time schedules with specified approval levels to continuously improve the quality of sales and operations planning.Lead, develop and coordinate policy and procedures for managing Planning deficiencies, "exceptional cases", capacity constraints and extra-ordinary fluctuations in customer demand.Lead and coordinate processes to support decision making concerning allocation of resources, prioritisation of customers when demand exceeds supply capability.Lead and develop Supply Chain quality management systems and processes in accordance with recognised international quality standards.To support inventory and purchase budget preparation across the full Supply Chain process.ProfileThe successful applicant for the role of S&OP Manager will have a meticulous eye for detail and be capable of interacting with stakeholders both up and downstream. The function is in need of some improvement and leadership, so the successful applicant must be a strategic thinker whilst also capable off "rolling up sleeves" and getting involved with the day to day operation.
