Job Description

THE COMPANY:Brewster Partners are delighted to be recruiting for a Project Design Engineer, for a market leading manufacturing company specialising in the Rail industry. As a Project Engineer you will be required to quote, plan and deliver small to medium sized projects for the Rail Industry.THE JOB:

  • Projects in the main will include the design and manufacture of equipment supporting steelwork to include customer information displays and driver only CCTV systems.
  • Project responsibilities will also include the planning and delivery of product supply only projects, ranging from equipment supporting columns / brackets and our INFORM display range.
  • Support the design and development of new display/steelwork products, assisting with the production of technical files, build documentation and aftersales support.
  • Develop project specifications, technical studies, preparing cost estimates
  • Identify engineering problems and ensure solutions are feasible and can be implemented
  • Monitor and review deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements and initiate appropriate corrective action when needed
    • THE PERSON:
  • Minimum BEng/ BSc in an Engineering discipline
  • Ability to self-motivate, manage and organize own activities and projects
  • Report writing in clear and concise English
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of tools including Excel
  • Proficient in the use of 2D CAD Systems (Preferably Auto CAD)
  • A basic understating of 3D CAD systems
