Job Description

Procurement Manager £50,000paOllertonT2M are recruiting for a newly created role as a Procurement Manager for a growing fire, security, and services business. This will be a group company procurement role overseeing multiple business unit procurement strategies, policies, and processes as wellas being hands-on to set up supplier lists.Key responsibilities of a Procurement Manager:

  • Developing and managing group procurement strategies, policies, and processes.
  • Implementing procurement processes and working with internal teams on business change.
  • Monitoring and managing procurement spend and purchasing across multiple business units.
  • Building relationships with new suppliers and building a preferred supplier list.
  • Management of suppliers and investigation of supplier issues.
  • Negotiating supplier agreements, pre-qualification tenders, and preparing and reviewing contracts.
  • Analysis and reporting on category and divisional spend.
  • Monitoring supplier and procurement KPIs and SLAs.
Requirements to be successful as a Procurement Manager:
  • Proven experience as a procurement leader or manager.
  • Understanding of multiple procurement categories, including:
    • Fleet
    • IT and technology
    • Materials
  • CIPS or MCIPS qualifications (beneficial).
  • Stakeholder management skills.
  • Personable and able to build relationships.
  • Contract law understanding and experience of drafting/reviewing.
  • Champion of continuous improvement.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytically minded.
This Procurement Manager role will be based in Ollerton, Newark however as a group role this will require travel in the UK.
