Job Description

Part-Time Finance and Business Administrator (20 hours PW)Are you a detail orientated person with experience in Sage and ExcelAre you looking for a work from home opportunityDue to increased success, we are looking for a part-time Finance/Accounts Administrator to join an expanding charity with exciting plans for 2021!You will have the fantastic autonomy of working from home with relative flexibility on working hours although you must commit to 4 hours per day Monday - Friday. The role will initially be based on a temporary contract so you must be available for an immediate start with a view to going permanent.You will be supplied with bot the tech and managerial support to be able to thrive and add value to their financial and accounts function.Duties will include:

  • Updating the bespoke MS Office database system with HR, payroll, Health and safety and other associated legislative data.
  • Working closely with the Director to assist with bookkeeping procedures including creating invoices using SAGE.
  • Updating the Sales/purchase ledger and proving any associated customer support.
  • Maintaining the integrity of the manual and digital filing systems.
  • Photocopying and scanning a variety of documentation and assisting with the organisation of internal meetings.
  • Liaising with suppliers and purchasing stock and merchandise.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and distribute meeting material.
  • Skills/Experience required:
  • MS Office Excel and SAGE Line 50 experience essential.
  • Previous experience in a similar role - accounts, finance, or Business Administration.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
