Job Description

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER / MULTI-SKILLED ENGINEER - FMCGNOTTINGHAMSHIREc£40k DOESHIFT PATTERN:2 Rotating ShiftsDays 06:00 - 14:00Afters 14:00 - 22:00Grafton Recruitment are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join a market leading FMCG manufacturer who supply into household brands such as Estée Lauder, Boots, Body Shop and Colgate to name but a few.As part of their long-term commitment to minimising downtime, they are looking to recruit 3 additional Maintenance Engineers to assist with maintaining all machinery/equipment on site.THE ROLE:As a Maintenance Engineer you will be required to:

  • Troubleshoot and correct any breakdown issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Plan and Manage PPM Schedules
  • Upgrade, service and install new and existing equipment
  • Ensure all Health & Safety policies are adhered to
  • Identify areas of improvement and cost reduction
  • Carry out shift handovers
    • THE CANDIDATE: The ideal Maintenance Engineer:
  • Worked in a food/FMCG manufacturing environment (essential)
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Multi-skilled capability - stronger Electrical skill set / bias (preferred)
  • Apprentice trained with HNC/HND or City & Guilds 18th Edition
  • Ability to effectively communicate and engage with people across all levels
    • COMMUTABLE FROM:Derby, Grantham, Leicester, Loughborough, Mansfield, Melton Mowbray, Newark-on-Trent, Nottingham,BENEFITS:
