Lead Solution Architect - AWS£100k + bonus + benefitsAre you an experienced, Cloud focussed Architect who has excellent business skills who would like to take a financial services company on a journey to Cloud based solutionsLooking for someone who can help the business and stakeholders navigate this journey, focussing on the technology site of the project - specifically expertise in AWS, Kubernetes and ContainerizationWorking with Senior Lead Architects, will drive the technical architecture transformation across the business, taking responsibility for the current state of a complex, mature and disparate technology landscape and defining and driving a comprehensive architecturemodernisation and transformation program from a technical perspective.You will be an experienced Solution Architect with an excellent technical skill, and have proven experience of working with a large organisation on a migration to a modern, Cloud base solution- you will have expert level skills in AWS and Kubernetes, and haveproven experience implementing these solutions in to clients, aware of the issues that may be faced and how to get the best results from the technical solutionExperience of delivery experience in modern agile methodologies and processes for complex distributed high-performance, resilient, scalable, secure, data-centric systems* Significant technical depth in designing progressive architectures that apply a broad combination of innovative technologies - recent pragmatic experience of designing for mainstream cloud-native providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservice design, containerorchestration (Kubernetes), serverless, RESTful API design, data ETL, engineering and analytics (Spark, SQL, document DBs)* Delivery experience in modern agile methodologies and processes for complex distributed high-performance, resilient, scalable, secure, data-centric systems e.g., Jira, DevSecOps, GitOps, SRE, observability.
