Ward Clerk | Administration | Competitive salary + excellent company benefits | Nottingham | Full Time Spire Nottingham Hospital is looking to hire a Ward Clerk to provide excellent customer service across the ward and manage the experience patients havewhen they are booked into attend the hospital. This role is all about meeting and striving to exceed all our customers expectations, presenting a high standard of personal appearance together with total confidentiality in every aspect of work at all times.Providing an efficient administrative service within the hospital, operating within established policies and procedures. This will be working long days between 10-12 hours across 3 working days a week on a rota. It will also include working one Saturday outof every two so please only apply if you can commit to this. Our state of the art, purpose built hospital located in Tollerton, has 42 private ensuite rooms, 4 theatres including a hybrid theatre, a 5 bed Critical Care Unit, a minor ops suite in Outpatients, 11 day case beds,endoscopy suite, on-site MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound and mammography, physiotherapy, pharmacy and 300 free car parking spaces. Duties and responsibilities: Welcoming, registering and directing patients, consultants and hospital teams as required, to the hospitalin a warm, professional and caring manner and in such a way as to provide confidence. Admission/Emergency Admission/Discharge of patients onto computer system ensuring accuracy of all information including capture of patient credit card details Processingin-patient charges including hotel services, clinical diagnostic tests and accurate bed charges Liaison with Hotel Services/Bed Manager/Nursing staff (not exclusive ) to ensure accuracy of bed allocation and smooth running of patient admission.
