Job Description

All Answers run multiple online platforms which offer a range of different products and services aimed at supporting higher education students.After an exceptional period of growth throughout 2020, we are looking to expand our technical teams to help with the further development of our internal systems. Therefore, we have a fantastic opportunity for an innovative and motivated graduate to join our internal development team. You would have the opportunity to work on many different internal and external systems, over several technology stacks; and you would be working in a team of relaxed, friendly, and supportive developers with varied experience and skills.Your responsibilities will be:

  • Collaborate with other teams to plan new features
  • Improve the usability and efficiency of the systems and infrastructure
  • Build new features and maintain the existing code base
  • Technical user support
  • Documentation of technical changes and processes
    • Remote Work:Due to the pandemic, all our staff are currently working remotely. Where possible training will be completed remotely, otherwise it will be done in our Covid safe office. The successful candidate will be required to work from home, and therefore will need a suitable environment to work in. Once it is safe to do so, there will be a phased return to the office, however, there will still be opportunities for people to work from home.Candidates must have:
  • A BSc. degree in a relevant computing subject
  • Experience working with PHP 7, MySQL, HTML and CSS
  • A good understand of OOP
  • A good understanding of basic development standards
    • Any knowledge or experience in any other the following would be great:
  • GIT
  • AWS
  • Linux
  • Vagrant
  • PHP Slim
  • Agile development processes
