Job Description

We are currently looking for a Formulation Scientist to join a research pharmaceutical company in the East Midlands.As a Formulation Scientist you will support early-stage formulation screening for novel drugs candidates.Responsibilities include:

  • Support/ Lead projects which will include formulation design, process development and analytical testing.
  • Design and develop processes for manufacturing.
  • Provide technical support to cGMP manufacturing.
  • Work with project teams to evaluate, interpret and report results.
  • Compile and prepare technical reports.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the relevant quality standards
  • Attend research events to maintain an in-depth knowledge of new technologies and regulatory requirements in formulation development.
Ideal candidates will be:Degree or PhD qualified in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science or Chemistry (or related subject) and have experience in formulation development.
