Job Description

Gleeson Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting for a Financial Controller to join our Ollerton based facilities management client. We are looking for an ambitious, qualified accountant to be at the forefront of the finance function for their businessarea. Salary up to £60,000 and progression both on offer, starting off as 5 days per week in Ollerton office with some flexibility offered once settled.As the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the management accounts, P&L and forecasting for your business area, alongside supporting the wider finance team to streamline processes. The highly acquisitive business boast exciting growth plansover the coming years, offering great potential for professional development. You will have the support of a wider senior leadership team in the office, allowing you to develop insightful reporting to then present to the board.Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing management accounts, reporting, budgets and commentaries to present to executive board
  • Record financial transactions for projects and the wider business
  • Monitor and forecast cash flow to support the wider group and treasury
  • Prepare supplier payment runs, ensuring theyre matched to GRNs and purchase orders
  • Manage team of 3 transactional support members
  • Prepare financial statements for internal and external use
  • Recommend cost cutting strategies
  • Control and forecast income and expenditure
About You:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • Demonstrable experience taking ownership of accounts in an SME environment
  • Sage 50 experience desirable
  • Facilities Management experience would be beneficial, but not required
  • A go-getter, looking to develop professionally and grow within a fast-growing business
