They are headquartered in the East Midlands, and need the right commercially-minded Finance Business Partner to help fully inform business decision making from a financial perspective.DescriptionYou will play a critical role within the commercial team, performing budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for all financial aspects of this exciting business. This information will support all Directors & senior managers across the company, meaning this is a high-profile opportunity which requires considerable change management ability.The main goal is to create an excellence centre for first-class management information. In order to do this, you will ensure careful financial planning & cash-flow management to underpin profitable growth while providing insight to support strategic decision making across the organisation.This is the perfect role to not only challenge you, but to build upon pre-existing commercial financial planning, analysis & business partnering experience. Here, you will:Deliver financial and operations targets through planning, monitoring, and forecastingDevelop a network of strong business relationships with a variety of internal stakeholdersBe responsible for developing, implementing and managing a cost control framework for both investment and contract managementIdentify opportunities to remove and/or mitigate cost from the business in conjunction with senior staffEstablish clear ownership of the numbers which you handleLead budgeting and forecasting process for function to deliver a robust planAct as a catalyst for change and deliver process improvements across the companyProvide expert advice and an independent view to the Finance Leadership Team, CFO and wider teamBe able to present & share complex data in an engaging and insightful way which can be shared with audiences across the businessBe able to interpret and articulate key trends and insight from the numbers, and make considered challenges and recommendations which the business can actionComplete ad hoc duties as & when requiredProfileBroad range of accountancy skills - fully qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA)Experience in a commercial finance environment operating at a senior level across multiple products and servicesProven commercial awareness with a strong technical grounding and process-improvement mindsetSelf-motivated, resilient and able to demonstrate initiativeGood understanding of finance systems (particularly SAP, BI, Anaplan)Computer literacy/numeracyCompetent in the use of Finance Systems including Sage, Harvest, Salesforce (preferred)Job OfferCompetitive salary £40,000 - £50,000Finance Business Partner, NottinghamPotential to progress into senior management / Director-level role
