Cherry Professional are currently working with a North Nottingham / Derbyshire based organisation to recruit a permanent Credit Control Team Leader. This is a fabulous opportunity to join an International business who strive for excellence and continuous improvement at all times. The purpose of this role is to ensure that the team are motivated and have all the tools necessary to achieve their cash collection tagets, whilst ensuring that appropriate controls, compliance and company policies are adhered to.Key DutiesManage and support a team of credit control clerks to ensure they exceed collections targets within a high performance culture.Ensure an environment of continuous improvement and development of best practice.Set KPIs, review performance and provide on-going feedback and support to team.Ensure customer account records are updated in a timely manner and commercial terms are adhered to.Communicate effectively and professional with internal stakeholders.Daily management of team regarding recruitment, performance, development opportuniteis and 121s.Bank account reconciliations and daily cash transaction review.Prepare bad debt provision on a monthly basis.Prepare and review month reports for presentation to Credit Manager.Evaluate and escalate any areas of risk and non-complaince to management in a timely manner.Ideal CandidateExperience of developing and managing a high performing team.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to manage multiple taks and work to deadlines.Comfortable working and communicating across all business functions.Intermediate to advanced excel skills.Due to Covid-19 please expect increased waiting times with all applications
