Job Description

Compliance Contracts Manager Contract Length: PermanentSalary: £42,461 - £46,416 (Depending on experience)Location: NottinghamWorking hours: 35 per weekVenn Group has a fantastic opportunity for a compliance contracts manager to work for a housing association in NottinghamDay to day duties include:

  • Ensure mechanical and electrical installations, equipment and services are maintained in line with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements to include (but not limited to)-Emergency lighting, fire alarms, access equipment, Passenger Lifts, domestic stair lifts, hoists, Through Floor Lifts, Fire Safety Equipment, Fire Risk Assessments & related actions, Asbestos Contracts (Surveying & Removal) and Asbestos Register, Water Safety/Legionella
  • Set KPIs for contracts and take any necessary action to ensure the agreed standards are achieved; monitoring contractors to ensure they are following the Associations policies and procedures
  • Management, scrutiny and regular weekly/monthly reporting on all areas of compliance activity and management of internal and external contracts and contractors
  • Prepare budget bids, business cases, raise works orders and variations in line with contracts and financial policies; monitoring, managing and reporting on delegated budgets
  • Organise, attend and chair meetings with stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of the service; making presentations where require
The Successful candidate will have the below Knowledge:
  • Extensive working knowledge of Asbestos; Fire; Lifts and Water Safety regulations and legislation
  • P405 Management of Asbestos in Building qualification of able/willing to work towards
  • L3 Award in Asbestos Surveying
  • L3 Health & Safety Management or equivalent
