Job Description

This Market leading distribution business has thrived over the last few years and are now looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join them to focus on growing their flooring division. A new role, you will be responsible for profitable growth of the division. As such, experience in a commercial role within the flooring sector is essential.The company is based in West Yorkshire but the role can be remote based as long as you are able to get to the office at least 1 day a week.The Role:

  • Manage the day to day operations of the flooring division.
  • Identify suitable new suppliers across flooring category
  • Negotiate and secure new supplier contracts
  • Work with contract managers
  • Resolve issues with contracts and commercial operations
  • Manage daily flooring division operations
  • Work closely with sales team to maximise sales.
  • Be the company reference point for all flooring related matters.
  • Coach employees on best practices regards flooring division
  • Accept extra duties as situations arise
  • Work efficiently and calmly to tight deadlines.
  • Analyse sales and other reports to drive insight across the business for flooring.
    • In order to be considered for this role you must be a proven Commercial Manager with extensive experience of successfully driving growth in a business. Knowledge of the flooring industry is also an important must have.Whilst already distributing flooring products the company understands it needs a specialist in this sector to help them really achieve their potential.
