The firm has a strong audit function, in addition to a more general accountancy practice clients base, across wide ranging sole traders, partnerships and limited companies with accounts, tax and wider general accountancy practice service requirements.DescriptionJoining as an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will take on increasing responsibility as the firm is looking to develop and progress. The role will be mixed across both audit and accounts, with the potential to mould the split of work to a decent degree, dependent on the career background, technical strengths and areas of interest/ motivations of the right individuals. You will carry out financial accounts review following preparation and analysis from a range of different sources. Much of this work will be drafted by the junior team for your review and you will help in their development acting in a support capacity. The majority of clients are varied industry SMEs and OMB corporates, but also include unincorporated Charities and other clients with audit requirement. You will play a key role assisting with audits of company accounts along side this as well, providing assistance with calculation of adjusted profits and capital allowances claims as well as completing tax return preparation work.ProfileYou will be a qualified, or part qualified/finalist, ACA or ACCA Audit and Accounts Senior, Senior Accountant etc with a career background in accountancy practice, seeking a role providing long term development potential and clear progression opportunities.You will be able to demonstrate experience across both audit and accounts ideally with competencies across excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, team working, self motivation and supervisory skills and be looking to develop in your career with increasing responsibility and progression on offer.Job OfferSalary circa £26,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on qualification and experience.
