Job Description

A leading housing association is recruiting for an Application Analyst to be responsible for the development, configuration, and functional analysis of various products, including Northgate. You will ideally come from a social housing background for this role.Key responsibilities

  • To become subject matter experts for the organisations applications
  • To support testing, incident management, problem management and run/coordinate small scale projects and deliverables across the application suite service to all customers
  • Help align technology within the business to support the organisations vision and strategic ambitions
  • Provide technical expertise to the business on new initiatives and projects
  • Manage BAU enhancements
  • Work on small projects
  • Be a part of bigger projects to provide SME support with implementation, testing, and integration
  • Liaise with the Major Incident Manager and third party vendors to ensure the quick resolution of any critical incidents
  • Act as systems administrator on core systems, ensuring access contrls are maintained
  • Manage cyclical upgrades and database management
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements to applications and services
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of application information
  • Undertake application development and configuration to ensure that solutions are fit for purpose and easily supportable
  • Work with other housing associations tech teams to promote and share good practice
    • For this role you will need
  • Demonstrable track record of providing second/third line support for applications in a similar environment
  • Experience of system configuration, trouble-shooting and fault-diagnosis
  • Experience of working with third-party suppliers and internal teams
  • Good working knowledge of all MS Office Products
  • Knowledge of relational database design and management
  • As a minimum, a working knowledge of information security polices, processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of SQL including writing scripts to query and update databases
