Job Description

Yard Operative - Amazing Benefits!Robertson Recruitment are currently recruiting for hardworking, physically fit and reliable yard operatives who are looking for ongoing outdoor work. The successful candidates will join a team of highly motivated and hardworking operatives who work in crews of 6.JOB ROLE

  • Working across the country at different events, erecting and taking down temporary stages and platforms for a variety of different shows and festivals.
  • Reporting to the site manager, you will be working to deadlines in order to fulfil customer requests.
  • The work will be completed onsite at various events so professionalism is key.
  • 100% of the job is outdoors working in all conditions - can often be muddy!
  • To be proactive and get stuck into any other duties required - such as cleaning down stages etc.
    • KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
  • Previous experience of working as a site labourer, events worker or yard operative advantageous.
  • Willing to work outside in all conditions.
  • Good communication.
  • Hard working and able to lift heavy items such as scaffolding and wooden planks.
  • Good team player and able to go the extra mile.
  • Own Driving licence major advantage.
  • Happy doing long hours and able to work away from home. (Night allowance and hotel paid)
  • Experience with a nail gun, hand tools and general assembly is advantageous.
  • Work to strict deadline.
    • BENEFITS
  • £8.50 basic pay, £12.75 for Saturday and Sunday.
  • Hotel paid for if working away, and night allowance paid for food / drinks.
  • Picked up and dropped off in Nottingham and Derby - Transport is provided.
  • Ongoing work.
